Meet Us

Danyele

Heyo! I’m Danyele, a PNW native. I’m always up to adventure, and explore areas I haven’t been, and also revisit the places I love most. I’ve been all around the country and have seen some of the most beautiful places. FUN FACT! I’ve never been out of the USA. Not even Canada. Whaaat? I know. Weird, huh? But, one of our many goals here with Paths Collide is to travel.. So.. with that, I know I will be getting to explore outside of the US soon! Being outside in nature is something that calms me in a way that I can’t really explain.. Same with photography. So these two things is a recipe for success. When I’m not working, I am hangin’ with my gang of four. My husband, my twin girlies and our pup, Miles. We are avid campers, lovers of the river, and are outside explorin’ the majority of the time.

Us

So how did we become a team?

Well, we have known each other for 21 years (Wow!) and became photographers separately at different times. When a close mutual friend wanted both of us to shoot her wedding, we realized that we had such similar visions for how we wanted to show up in the world and for how we wanted our relationships with our clients to be. A few shoot ideas turned into a bigger vision for a large-scale project, and Paths Collide was born.

Our paths were colliding and we couldn't wait to see how our paths would collide with others.

Codi

Hey there! I'm Codi! I was born and raised here in Washington and I feel so lucky that I get to call this stunning place home! I'm kind of obsessed with nature. I will forever be that girl who says, "Ohhh...look at that sunset," no matter what day it is and no matter how many times I have watched it set. You could also insert sunrise/moon/beach/mountain in place of sunset and it would still be true. When I'm not adventuring with clients, I'm adventuring with my family, likely pulling around our '72 pop up Apache camper! I love to travel and explore new places. A few favorite spots have been BC, Canada and Senegal, West Africa. I first really picked up a camera about 8 years ago and have been loving it ever since. I cannot wait to get the chance to chat with you about how we might get to work together!
